Using remote JULES repository in a rose suite

When JULES code is on FCM, we would use something like:

JULES_PATH='fcm:jules.xm_tr'
JULES_REVISION='@vn8.0'
JULES_PATH='fcm:jules.xm_br/dev/nicolagedney/vn8.0_lsh_new_zw_lsh_full_hydraulic_connect'

to download and run a version of JULES. My question is how would one do this now via GitHub?

I'm aware of some UM functionality of doing this for submodel repositories: https://code.metoffice.gov.uk/trac/roses-u/changeset/346021/d/w/7/8/7/trunk. Is there a similar example JULES only suite we could have a look at?

We don't have an example JULES standalone suite, however the change in the UM suites, such as you've linked to, would also work for standalone JULES. Obviously for JULES, you can simplify it by only including entries for jules, rather than UM, UKCA, Casim etc.

The README contains some instructions for converting it to use git sources rather than fcm. I think the only thing to switch is that the version number in the first step should be vn8.0 for JULES.
