What it is. DeepLedger is an AI staff accountant for QuickBooks. It connects QuickBooks to Grok, ChatGPT, Claude and other AI agents, allowing businesses to record bills, invoices, payments, deposits, journal entries and other transactions, run financial reports, manage receivables and payables, and track month-end close using natural language.
Tools. 27 (20 QuickBooks Online tools plus 7 platform tools for guided procedures, review tasks, company memory, bank feed, documents, custom reports and close runs). All tools carry the four MCP annotation hints. Every write requires an ID lookup and duplicate check first; uncertain categorizations are routed to a human review task rather than guessed. QuickBooks Online remains the ledger of record; DeepLedger holds the Intuit OAuth connection, so the MCP client never sees Intuit credentials.
