Impulse trigger vibration not functioning on Moonlight 6.2.0 #193
Description
Describe the Bug
When using an Xbox series controller with the latest Sunshine, Moonlight and Virtual HID driver, the impulse trigger feedback does not function. Only tested using Forza horizon 6. The basic Xinput vibration still functions.
All variables were excluded, such as ensuring no extra controllers connected, launching the game directly rather than via a third party launcher etc.
The logs seemed to suggest a DS4 controller was detected alongside the Series controller, however I do not own one.
The issue is resolved when Moonlight 6.2.0 is uninstalled and Moonlight 6.1.0 is used instead - with that change, the impulse triggers work regardless of above variables.
Expected Behavior
Impulse trigger feedback should activate when streaming via Moonlight, e.g. on acceleration or braking in FH6.

@RobertWack thanks for reporting this.
Can you test opening Moonlight 6.2.0 like so from PowerShell? Then let me know if impulse triggers work.

I can confirm SDL_JOYSTICK_RAWINPUT = 1 fixes impulse triggers for me on 6.2.0 (tested with 2 Xbox series controllers).

I have a PR open in Moonlight QT to fix this. Just waiting on review and merge. moonlight-stream/moonlight-qt#2049
