My libvirtualhid doesn't detect any of my controllers while ViGEmBus detects Both of them #206
My libvirtualhid doesn't detect any of my controllers, while ViGEmBus Detects Both of them
I have an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 and a DualSense Edge Wireless Controller
I am using my DualSense via Bluetooth and my Xbox Controller using a USB cable
The controllers work fine in Steam Big Picture, but when I am in a game like EA FC 26,
The Controllers are not working,
I am using EA FC 26 from EA Desktop
But when I use ViGEmBus, both controllers work fine in the game.

I traced the controller selection in the Sunshine version you reported. In auto mode, libvirtualhid selects Xbox Series for an Xbox controller and DualSense for a PlayStation controller, while ViGEmBus selects Xbox 360 and DualShock 4 respectively. Profile compatibility is therefore one possibility to check; this is not yet a confirmed cause.
Could you provide the following?
Are the physical controllers connected to the Android client or directly to the Windows host? If Android, which device and Android version?
What are your current gamepad driver and virtual gamepad settings under Sunshine's Configuration > Input?
Please compare these two runs, testing one controller at a time with Steam fully exited:
Set the gamepad driver explicitly to Virtual HID and the virtual gamepad to Xbox 360 (x360). Restart Sunshine, end/reconnect the stream, and check whether buttons and sticks respond in the Windows host's joy.cpl. Then launch EA FC 26 through EA Desktop and test input.
Repeat with ViGEmBus and the same Xbox 360 profile, restarting Sunshine and reconnecting the stream before launching the game.
For each run, please report the controller name shown in joy.cpl, whether input works there, and whether it works in EA FC 26. Please attach the Sunshine log covering connection, controller creation, and the failed game test. If the Virtual HID run cannot create a controller or input also fails in joy.cpl, include %WINDIR%\Temp\libvirtualhid-umdf-driver.log too.
This comparison will help distinguish virtual-profile compatibility from a driver or game-specific failure.
