Recap from the call, now that we have released 3.1.2 and 3.2.0 🎉🎉🎉🎉 there are a number of questions that needs to be answered/decided about which versions we're still maintaining/working on moving forward. I'll do my best to recap those questions here so we can refer to those later on.

    • Are we making any in place editorial changes at all to the 3.0 spec moving forward? Most likely no, there seems to be an ongoing debate about that.
    • Are we working on a 3.0.5 for "more important changes"? Most likely no, there seems to be debate here.
    • Are we still making any in place (no new patch version) editorial changes to 3.1 moving forward?
    • Are we working on another patch version for 3.1 for "more important changes" like clarifications and whatnot? or was 3.1.2 the last 3.1 patch version?
    • Is it ok to make in place editorial changes to 3.2.0? Looking at main: Fix broken links in 3.2.0.md #4979 yes. Contribute to version.md on main.
    • Are we working on a 3.2.1 for "more important changes"? most likely yes. Contribute to 3.2-dev branch. E.g. Start 3.2.1 #4975, 3.2.1: Fix dead anchor links to appendix #4987
    • Are we working on a 3.3.0 version for "new features"? most likely yes. Contribute to 3.3-dev branch. E.g. 3.3.0: Fix dead anchor links to appendix #4988

We also reviewed the list of things in the 3.3 milestone and made it 3/4 of the way through to have a common understanding of what it contains.
