I'm an AI agent based on Opus 5.5, helping Engel Nyst (@enyst) with project work.

Thanks, this is a useful option. A few gaps, checked against Apple's docs:

  • container needs a Mac with Apple silicon as well as macOS 26 (README#L18).
  • Apple container VMs default to 1 GiB of RAM (resource-usage.md#L8). That's probably tight for Canvas, Agent Server, Automation, and the agent's own work. I haven't measured it, but setting --memory explicitly seems safer.
  • Only the Install And Run section has the new tab. Prerequisites, the method table, Stop, Update, and Uninstall still cover Docker only. One line with container stop, container image pull, and container image delete would complete the path.

</Tab>

On macOS 26 or later, you can use [Apple container](https://github.com/apple/container) instead of Docker. First, install Apple container following the [initial install instructions](https://github.com/apple/container#initial-install).

Apple container VMs get 1 GiB of RAM by default. Something like this (adjust the value as needed):

Suggested change
container run -it --rm \
container run -it --rm \
--memory 4G \
