Hi,
I’m using Cursor Master (from cursormaster.net), which gives me access to an unlimited Cursor AI Pro plan. It works perfectly on my computer, but the license is restricted to a single device, so I can’t share it with others.
Right now, my friends have to remotely access my computer to use it, which isn’t very convenient. I’d like them to be able to install and use the software on their own machines instead.
Is there any way to make it work across multiple computers or adjust the installation to allow this?
I’ve included a screenshot of the error I receive when trying to install it on another device.
hey, can anyone share the link of it. I want to use that too. I am unable to access the websit or download it. I am not getting it. Especially by evan papas. When i am searching it, google is taking me to taskmaster.
Have you checked if the installation process requires a specific license file or activation key that is device-bound? It might also help to look into whether Cursor Master has a multi-user or enterprise plan that accommodates sharing across devices legally.
Have you checked if the installer or activation process outputs any specific error codes or messages besides what you've shared? Sometimes looking into the installation logs can reveal more about what’s device-locked. Additionally, it might be worth contacting Cursor Master support to inquire about any options for a multi-user license or any potential ways to legally allow installation across multiple devices.
The screenshot provided shows a hardware ID mismatch during the activation handshake, which suggests the software is likely generating a unique key based on the local machine's UUID or MAC address via the wmic csproduct get uuid command. You should inspect the installation directory for a config or license file that contains a hash string, as that might be where the local hardware signature is being validated against your account. Have you checked if this tool is injecting a modified cursor-auth token into your local environment variables or the AppData storage folder?
If the installer is performing a hardware ID hash check during the validation handshake, you should check your temporary directory for a log file named install.log to see if it reports an invalid machine GUID or a mismatched hardware address. Does the error message in the screenshot explicitly return a specific status code like 403 Forbidden or a local machine authorization failure?

If the installer is failing on the second machine, what exact error message or HTTP status code is shown in that screenshot?
