COPYINGfile is synonymous with theLICENSEfile. A project typically needs one or the other at the root directory of a project.The instructions for the standard license header are found at the bottom of the
COPYINGfile. I believe what you have proposed in the LICENSE file is a correct example of a bash standard license header, but it would need to be applied at the top of the three scripts (hwtest.sh, hwtestlanproprietary.sh, and hwtestproprietary.sh) instead of a new LICENSE file.The copyright year would be either 2017-2019 or 2017-2024.
