is different from the Academic Public License currently known to scancode. Specifically, the preamble is missing and section 1 is worded slightly different:

you have to contact the Author or visit www.omnest.com
for an appropriate license.

versus:

you have to contact the author. Or you can also visit www.omnest.com
for an appropriate license.

Note: "the Academic Public License currently known to scancode" referenced in this issue is LicenseRef-scancode-apl-1.1.

I think that the license text at https://github.com/mmodenesi/omnetpy/blob/master/License is actually a poorly copied version of the original Academic Public License 1.1 but not actually a license on its own. This is best handled by a new or modified license detection rule that points this botched version of the text to LicenseRef-scancode-apl-1.1.
