Invalid Requires-Python for some dependencies #3856

Description

@stefan6419846

Description

Installing the package yields some warnings for nexB-maintained packages:

[...]
WARNING: Package 'extractcode' has an invalid Requires-Python: Invalid specifier: '>=3.6.*'
[...]
WARNING: Package 'gemfileparser2' has an invalid Requires-Python: Invalid specifier: '>=3.6.*'
[...]
WARNING: Package 'pygmars' has an invalid Requires-Python: Invalid specifier: '>=3.6.*'
[...]

Looking at the projects itself, it seems like these issues have been fixed in the meantime by requiring >=3.7 everywhere now, but these changes have never been released and thus more or less spam the installation log.

How To Reproduce

python -m pip install scancode-toolkit typecode-libmagic

System configuration

  • What OS are you running on? Ubuntu 22.04
  • What version of scancode-toolkit was used to generate the scan file? scancode-toolkit-32.2.1.tar.gz
  • What installation method was used to install/run scancode? pip
