Cannot add inputs to a project

I am trying to load multiple SCTK Scans into SCIO using the load_inventory pipeline. My objective is to load multiple Scans run with the same Scan parameters - clipeu - into one Project. The Scans were run with SCTK v30.1.0 - using this version for compatibility with SCWB.

After I load the first Scan file, the Add inputs button is "grayed-out" and inaccessible. It appears that I can "Add pipeline" but that is not what I need to do.

The SCIO version is v30.1.1.

by design, once you run a pipeline, the set of inputs is frozen.
you can add a pipeline with additional inputs.
