The specifics of a WAR are that we typically have:
- some lib or similar directory that contains JARs
- some plain Java classes (typically under WEB-INF dir)
- because this is for some web app, we often have JSP (possibly complied ahead-of-time to Java and .class) and JavaScript (possibly transpiled from TypeScript, webpacked and/or minified, sometimes with a companion .js.map), CSS, images, fonts, and other web-related files.
