Fix the impersonation button running away from the pointer when dragged. It now follows the pointer, avoids selecting page text during a drag, and springs back into view when dropped off-screen. This also includes @alexcarpenter’s improvements to the shared drag handling and dark mode appearance.

Full before-and-after recording: pointer tracking, off-screen spring-back, and dark mode. Uses a mocked session and a controlled 2× movement-scaling reproduction.

📝 Walkthrough

Adds the useDragGesture hook and uses it in the keyless prompt and impersonation FAB. The hook tracks eligible pointer gestures, reports drag offsets, and cleans up on release, cancellation, or unmount. The keyless prompt retains velocity sampling and corner projection. The FAB settles within a viewport inset, respects reduced-motion preferences, and uses a theme background token. Tests cover gesture behavior and FAB dragging. A sandbox scenario represents a signed-in impersonated session.

🟡 Minor · Initialize velocity sampling on pointerdown. · use-drag-to-corner.ts:284-288

packages/ui/src/components/devPrompts/KeylessPrompt/use-drag-to-corner.ts:284-288
🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

Initialize velocity sampling on pointerdown.

When the pointer crosses the 5px threshold after a delay, onDragStart resets lastTimestamp immediately before the first onDrag call. A following move within 10ms is then excluded, although the previous implementation used the pointerdown timestamp. This can leave fewer velocity samples and change the inertial projection or selected corner.

Move the velocity initialization to an accepted pointerdown callback. Keep the drag-end and cancellation handling unchanged.

Assert callback order in the shared drag test.

The test verifies that both callbacks run, but not their order. If onDrag runs before onDragStart, the impersonation FAB returns early because dragStart.current is still null, so it loses the first movement.

Add a reduced-motion assertion for settling.
