Retro for PR #557 (dependabot: mermaid 11.12.1 → 11.16.1 in Key finding — non-deterministic verdict flip that lost a real bug. The review agent ran two full iterations against the same commit. Iteration 1 (correctness pass) correctly noticed that Related target-repo bug. The CDN pin is a genuine defect in Cost / effort tuning — already well-covered, not re-filed. The run cost $5.31 and took ~13 min at claude-opus-4-7 high effort for a 2-file lockfile bump, with ~3 min of sandbox+harness overhead and both iterations re-reading the same skill files. Prior open issues already propose the fixes: fullsend-ai/fullsend#6891 (scope-based effort/model gating), #5777 (diff-complexity routing), #2842 (cheaper model for trivial bot PRs), plus fullsend-ai/agents#257 (pre-review early exit for bot dependency-update PRs). New datapoint for those threads: $5.31 / ~13 min / opus-high / 2 iterations on a mermaid lockfile bump that the maintainer then closed unmerged along with 4 sibling mermaid PRs the same day — the review compute was effectively wasted. Also observed, not re-filed. The Agents repo discovered: Proposals filed
