#8 was merged seconds after #7, before GitHub had retargeted it, so it landed on push-eta instead of main. This brings it the rest of the way.

push-eta is #7 plus #8, and nothing else:

  • 326b661 Look like Treeherder's simple view
  • 0e52be2 Keep the status bar light when the theme switch picks light
  • fb5b28d Ship this as 1.3 (12)
  • 67ce402 Rewrite the README for 1.3, with the new screenshots
  • 8bc3bd0 Merge pull request 1.3: Look like Treeherder's simple view #8

The app code on push-eta is identical to fb5b28d, the tree archived as 1.3 (12), the build in App Review. No new changes; everything here was reviewed in #8.

BuildWatch and the Treeherder simple view (mozilla/treeherder#9898) answer the
same question for the same people, so they should read as one product. This
rebuilds the app's screens on the simple view's design: same colours, same
words, same ring, same verdict.

- Colours are Treeherder's own: Bootstrap 5.3 tokens with Treeherder's #337ab7
links, the #222 / #354048 bars and light-blue info bar, the --status-* job
colours, and the simple view's dark-mode color-mix() shades, precomputed.
- Text is a port of ui/simple-view/strings.js; the verdict, row status, ETA
wording, push title, author name and failure grouping are ported from
helpers.js, PushDetail.jsx and JobSummary.jsx. Platform names come from
  thPlatformMap.
- The tick ring ports Ring.jsx, including its tick allocation, tick-in and
running wave, and honours Reduce Motion.
- Screens: "Pushes by..." picker with recent people, the push list with Kit and
mini rings, and the push screen with its verdict, legend, ETA pill and the
Broken here / Builds / Lint / Also failing on the parent / Seen before /
Known intermittents sections. Cards open the job's failure summary in place.
- Reads Push Health as the web does (health_summary per row, health per push,
bug_suggestions and job detail per opened card), at most four requests in
flight. The delta job fetch, polling, ETA model, watch notifications and
  haptics are unchanged.

Deliberate differences: no Beta tag (the footer links to GitHub issues instead);
no rerun button, since there is still no Taskcluster sign-in, so a running push
offers "Notify me when it finishes" in that spot; no tab bar, since the picker
replaces Settings (the address keeps its old storage key); the theme follows
the system until the switch is used; the bars are pinned, with a light status
bar to sit on them.

preferredColorScheme(.light) also turns the status bar text dark, which is
unreadable on the always-dark Treeherder bar. Set the theme on the window
instead, which leaves the app-wide light status bar alone.

The binary in App Review: archived 2026-10-07 09:18 from this tree, with the
light-theme status bar fix and none of the screenshot hooks.

Leads with the four App Store shots and the verdict, describes the app as it
now is (the simple-view design, Push Health sections, failures in place,
anyone's pushes, the estimate, watching), and drops the sections that
described the old screens and the long-merged performance branch. Keeps the
estimate's backtest and the parser notes. The store is still on 1.1, so the
estimate is listed as first shipping in 1.3.
