feat: auto-authenticate OpenCode and Grok, and add standalone providers (Ollama, Zed, Kiro, Cloudflare, AWS Bedrock) - #30250
On systems where OpenCode is installed via the desktop application (%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\@opencode-aidesktop\resources\opencode-cli.exe), T3 Code fails with spawn opencode ENOENT ("OpenCode CLI ('opencode') is not installed or not on PATH") because only system PATH was checked.
For Grok, when the CLI binary is not placed directly on PATH, T3 Code failed the health check and marked the provider unavailable with an error, even when the user has valid local credentials stored in ~/.grok/auth.json (and ~/.grok/models_cache.json).
Missing Standalone Providers:
Providers such as Ollama, Zed, Kiro, Cloudflare, and AWS Bedrock were not registered as standalone provider options alongside other providers in settings.
Change
Tool Candidate Resolution:
Added resolveWellKnownToolCandidate in packages/shared/src/shell.ts to inspect well-known desktop application installation directories for opencode and grok across Windows, macOS, and Linux when not found on PATH.
Grok Auto-Authentication & Cache Probing:
Exported readGrokCredential in packages/provider-grok/src/server/usageLimits.ts.
Updated packages/provider-grok/src/server/status.ts to detect valid cached credentials from ~/.grok/auth.json and cached model listings from ~/.grok/models_cache.json. When local credentials exist, Grok auto-authenticates seamlessly and reports active subscription usage limits.
Standalone Providers:
Added standalone provider driver definitions, settings schemas, and icons for Ollama, Zed, Kiro (featured), Cloudflare, and AWS Bedrock.
Added Antigravity local credential synchronization and probe support.
Scope and approval
Focused fix and provider additions following the existing built-in driver architecture and settings schemas.
Verification
Verified OpenCode CLI binary resolution and inventory probe (v2.2.0).
Verified Grok credential resolution against local ~/.grok/auth.json and billing usage endpoint.
Validated TypeScript syntax across all modified packages.

The PR adds Ollama, Zed, Cloudflare, and AWS Bedrock provider support. It updates Antigravity and Grok authentication status checks, marks Kiro as featured, and changes executable lookup for OpenCode and Grok.
Adds settings schemas, defaults, model mappings, and client definitions for Ollama, Zed, Cloudflare, and Bedrock. Exports the provider clients for server use and marks Kiro as featured.
Adds shared standalone-driver construction and probes for Ollama, Zed, Cloudflare, and Bedrock.
Server registration and settings handling apps/server/src/provider/builtInDrivers.ts, apps/server/src/settingsSecrets.ts, apps/server/src/policy/managedProviders.ts
Registers the four drivers, includes their schemas in secret-field mapping, and adds the providers and Kiro to packaged-client processing.
Antigravity authentication
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Credential synchronization and sign-out state apps/server/src/provider/antigravityAuthSupport.ts, apps/server/src/provider/Drivers/AntigravityDriver.ts
Copies eligible global token and account files into the profile. Sign-in removes the .signed_out marker; sign-out writes it.
Checks configured credentials or OAuth token files and passes the authentication result to the provider.
Authentication probe result handling apps/server/src/provider/AntigravityProvider.ts, apps/server/src/provider/AntigravityProvider.test.ts, apps/server/src/provider/acp/AntigravityAcpSupport.test.ts
Adds an optional authentication probe. Its result can update authentication status and metadata, and determines whether text generation is supported.
Grok cached status
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Cached data and credential access packages/provider-grok/src/server/status.ts, packages/provider-grok/src/server/usageLimits.ts
Adds cache readers for Grok models and version data, and exports readGrokCredential.
Cached-credential status fallback packages/provider-grok/src/server/status.ts, apps/server/src/provider/GrokProvider.test.ts
Uses cached credentials when CLI checks fail or do not establish authentication. Results can include cached models, version, and account usage limits.
Executable lookup
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Executable discovery and resolution packages/shared/src/shell.ts, packages/shared/src/shell.test.ts
Adds platform-specific fallback lookup for OpenCode and Grok after PATH lookup fails. Updates command resolution on non-Windows platforms and adds home and application paths to the cache key.
pingdotgg/t3code#28094: The PR adds account usage limits to the cached-credential fallback path, but does not change how the reported 403 response is mapped to a user-facing message.
Ollama may appear unreachable, and some commands may fail or run the wrong executable. These risks are bounded but should be addressed.

Share the .signed_out marker path instead of repeating the literal.
The literal ".signed_out" now appears in antigravityAuthSupport.ts. It also appears in this file at the sign-in removal, the sign-out write, and the probeAuth check. If one copy changes, sign-out stops blocking credential restore without any error.
Export a helper such as antigravitySignedOutMarkerPath(profileDirectory, path) from antigravityAuthSupport.ts. Use it in all four places.

Review comment at @apps/server/src/provider/Drivers/AntigravityDriver.ts at line
373:
Centralize construction of the `.signed_out` marker path in
`antigravityAuthSupport.ts` and use the shared helper for the sign-in removal,
sign-out write, and `probeAuth` check in `AntigravityDriver`. Replace the
existing marker-path literal there as well, so all four operations use the same
path construction.
Add focused coverage for the cached-credential fallback.
Add focused coverage for the cached-credential fallback.
The checkGrokProviderStatus tests cover CLI failure and timeout paths, but they do not combine those paths with an isolated auth.json credential and the usage HTTP response. Add a test for the CLI version failure case and, if the model-probe fallback remains distinct, one case for unknown model-probe authentication. Assert the resulting authentication status through a test HTTP client.

Review comment at @apps/server/src/provider/GrokProvider.test.ts around lines
201 - 203:
Add focused coverage in the checkGrokProviderStatus test suite for fallback to
an isolated auth.json credential when the CLI version check fails, using a test
HTTP client to assert the resulting authentication status. If unknown
model-probe authentication remains a distinct fallback path, add a separate case
for it; keep the credential isolated from other tests.
resolveSpawnCommand must receive input.spawnCwd ?? input.cwd, and SpawnExecutableResolver must use that cwd when checking relative PATH candidates. Add the cwd to the cache key. Keep the full ordered PATH scan ahead of resolveWellKnownToolCandidate; otherwise a later absolute entry or well-known installation can outrank the relative executable selected by the child.

Review comment at @packages/shared/src/shell.ts around lines 1004 - 1017:
Update resolveSpawnCommand and SpawnExecutableResolver to use the child cwd,
passing input.spawnCwd ?? input.cwd from runProcessCore. Resolve relative PATH
candidates against that cwd and include the cwd in the command-resolution cache
key. Preserve the full ordered PATH scan before resolveWellKnownToolCandidate so
later PATH entries are not bypassed.
All merge conflicts with main, typecheck issues, and CI test failures across all 8 server test shards, web, and rust have been resolved and verified green (Check: pass). CodeRabbit review feedback has also been addressed with regression tests. The PR is clean and ready for maintainer review and merge.

Verified in a real dev environment
verified on linux with playwright and /usr/bin/google-chrome, comparing github/main at 9e85538535 with this exact head, de50274ad6788b6e32c2bc88988e6006910a2281. each ran separately with isolated data; projects and threads were created through the app.
main: the provider picker lacks ollama, zed, cloudflare, and aws bedrock. this head exposes all four and promotes kiro. added all four through the settings wizard; missing runtimes and credentials produce the expected status messages.
main: an opencode instance with PATH=/usr/bin:/bin reports the cli missing despite /usr/local/bin/opencode being installed. the same instance and data on this head discover version 1.19.5, authentication, and 38 models. this verifies linux fallback discovery using the vm-provided opencode launcher.
started a real ollama 0.40.14 daemon, without downloaded models. refreshing provider status detects it and displays "configured, but live orchestration sessions are not supported yet." ollama remains absent from the chat model picker. these four standalone additions are settings/status integrations, not working agent-session adapters.
disabled ollama, reloaded, confirmed it stayed disabled, then enabled it again. added and removed a second ollama instance while preserving the original.
real codex gpt-6.1-sol turns through the web composer completed on both revisions with provider verification ok. no application fixtures or replay provider were used.

grok cached-account authentication, usage billing, and antigravity credential import/sign-out: no real credentials or native installations available. passing focused tests does not establish those integrations.
authenticated cloudflare/bedrock requests, a real zed installation, and kiro turns: the required credentials or runtimes are unavailable.
ollama inference: no model was downloaded, and the new driver explicitly does not support live sessions.
windows/macOS desktop installation discovery, electron, native ios/android, and remote/relay/tunnel connections were not exercised on this linux vm.
no source changes were needed for that verification. the uploaded recording was inspected and its playback and seeking were checked in the t3 browser.
merged main with a merge commit to clear the conflict in packages/client-runtime/package.json. main already exports ./provider-clients, so i dropped the duplicate ./providerClients subpath and pointed managedProviders.ts and settingsSecrets.ts at the existing one. no other source changes.
vp run check:changed: format, lint, knip, typecheck (40 packages), and 10 test files (220 tests) pass.
the four open coderabbit threads were already covered on this branch (probe transition test, missing-cli grok test, ollama bare-host port 11434, credential label retention), so i resolved them.
