fix(server): Antigravity Agent Platform passes GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS to the runtime - #30427
With Antigravity's Sign-in method set to Agent Platform (Vertex AI) and no API key, the runtime authenticates through Google Application Default Credentials. T3 Code stripped GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS from the runtime's environment for every sign-in method. So a service-account key set under the instance's Environment variables, or in the server's own environment, was saved but never reached the runtime, and the runtime fell back to the user ADC file.
Reproduced on main b183048a82 in the web dev server, using a fresh database and a stand-in runtime that records its environment:
Add an Antigravity instance on Agent Platform with a GCP project and location, no API key.
Add GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS (sensitive) and AGY_ADC_AUTH=true under Environment variables.
Click Connect.
The spawned runtime had AGY_ADC_AUTH and AGY_ACP_FORCE_FILE_STORAGE but no GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS. It was also missing when the variable came from the server's own environment.
Change
antigravityEnvironment keeps GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS (and any case alias of it) when the method is Agent Platform and no API key is saved, since ADC is then the selected credential. Every other method, and Agent Platform with an API key, still strips it, so ambient variables still cannot override the selected method. Every other key on the strip list is unchanged. The Antigravity user guide now states this exception: Agent Platform without a saved API key reads GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS from the instance's environment variables or the host, and a saved API key takes precedence.
New test in apps/server/src/provider/antigravityAuthSupport.test.ts: Antigravity process environment > keeps Application Default Credentials only for Agent Platform without an API key.
On main it fails with expected undefined to be '/secrets/key.json'.
On this branch it passes, together with the existing tests that require stripping for the other methods. That includes the AntigravityDriver.test.ts harness, which passes the variable through provider env under the default method.
vp run check:changed passes: format, lint, knip, typecheck, and 28 tests in 2 files.

Not checked: authenticating against Vertex with a real Antigravity runtime and service-account key (neither is available here), and native Windows or macOS spawning. The change is platform-independent string filtering, and case aliases are covered by the existing alias handling.

GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS from the base environment must reach the
Antigravity runtime, while Agent Platform with an API key still drops it.

Macroscope's review found this PR approvable — Agent Platform now receives the configured Google credential-file path when no API key is saved. The change preserves other authentication modes, API-key precedence, and the existing default sign-in method.

Walkthrough
The change preserves GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS for Agent Platform when no API key is configured. Tests cover both API key conditions. Provider documentation describes how to configure Application Default Credentials.

Summary
Preserve ADC for Agent Platform apps/server/src/provider/antigravityAuthSupport.ts, apps/server/src/provider/antigravityAuthSupport.test.ts, docs/user/providers-antigravity.md
The environment filter retains GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS for Agent Platform when the API key is empty. Tests verify that the variable is removed when an API key is configured. The documentation describes setting the variable to an absolute service-account JSON key path.
pingdotgg/t3code#23036: This change forwards GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS when configured, but does not address the issue’s reproduction case where the variable is unset.

Explanation
Issue #30413 requires that GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS reach the Antigravity runtime when sign-in uses Agent Platform with no API key. The whole-PR diff of apps/server/src/provider/antigravityAuthSupport.ts adds usesApplicationDefaultCredentials = authMethod === "agent-platform" && !apiKey. The environment filter keeps the key (case-insensitive match via key.toUpperCase()) only when this flag is true. Other methods, and Agent Platform with an API key, still strip it. The new test 'keeps Application Default Credentials only for Agent Platform without an API key' asserts both paths. The docs change names the variable. The issue's alternative (disclose stripping in the UI) does not apply because the target configuration no longer strips the variable. The PR transcript reports the variable reaching the runtime from provider settings and from the server environment. This is author-reported and was not re-run here.

Explanation
The whole-PR diff touches three files. The source change is the single credential-filter rule for #30413. The test change adds one test for that rule. The Antigravity user guide (docs/user/providers-antigravity.md) documents the same variable and the ADC exception. Other entries on removedEnvironmentKeys are unchanged. No unrelated behavior or unrelated files were found in the reviewed diffs. The docs file itself was not read as a diff; its content relies on the PR summary.

Clarify the exception for inherited ADC credentials.
For Agent Platform without an API key, an inherited GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS is now passed to the runtime. ADC checks that path before the local ADC file, so it can change the account used. Qualify this statement to describe that exception. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Update the credential-precedence statement in the Antigravity provider
documentation to clarify that, for Agent Platform without an API key, an
inherited GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS is passed to the runtime and ADC checks
it before the local ADC file, so it can change the account used; retain the
existing statement for other ambient credential variables.
