OSX 11.0 crashing #2304

Expected behavior: Program to work as before
Actual behavior: Crashing every 3-4 clicks
Detailed steps to reproduce: Use with Big Sur
Release or development git branch? Please note the release version or commit hash: 2.33

I'm experiencing a similar thing. Every other click (sometimes it works for a few minutes, sometimes it crashes ass soon as I do something.
The example logs are from me searching for Astero fits, Then it shows that there are 5 astero fits. When I click on the Astero (I'd expect to then show me the 5 fits in a list) it crashes
Until now I was unable to find any common action that leads to a crash. I can't reproduce it intentionally either.
It does NOT crash when just having it open while not interacting with it.

Is there a way to get more logs than what I get on the console?

from logs provided by @Timmeey , I think the crash comes from wxpython, not pyfa itself.
May I ask are you using Apple M1 or Intel based Macbook Pro ?

I'm using a regular boring non-fancy intel MacBook Pro.

I'm getting this on my intel MacBook Pro. I was able to fire up Pyfa from a git clone and have no crashes, which also makes me think that this isn't a Pyfa issue but a dependency issue like wxpython.

Same issue here with intel MacBook Pro. Little information found on the web regarding this issue or wxPython crashes in Mac 11.
Wondering for a workaround.

I think I was reading crash log backward :(. from @Timmeey 's log, seems top of stack should be:
and not
I downloaded v2.33.0 on my mac mini and it's working without crash. I need more detail to debug this issue.

This seems to be caused by a recursion leading to a stack overflow. Here's the stack trace:

With some help from a friend i got it running using the dev build.
It's mostly standard instructions, but with some tweaks:
wxPython == 4.0.7.post2replace inrequirements.txtHave it running almost all the time for the last 25+ days and it only crashed once.
