Mind releasing a new version w/ the changes since december? #94

I'd like to make use of #87 but it was merged after the latest release from April 2021; could there be a new version cut and released possibly?

This would be great. Using this with Typescript and as with a wrapper component is problematic. The fix has already been merged. Can it be released?
