Not sure if it's already in the works but could also be worth implementing customisation for which app's notifications appear/don't appear in the Island via a toggle as well (e.g. having notifications from WhatsApp appear/toggled 'on' in the Island but Discord notifications not appearing via toggling 'off' by the end user)

Problem Statement
All notifications currently behave the same way in the island. It would be great to be able to choose certain apps to always show expanded for important notifications and to just show collapsed and not use the peek feature for less important ones.
Proposed Solution
An app selection section where an app can be selected to either use default behavior, start expanded, or ignore peek.
Alternatives Considered
I was previously using dynamic island which has this feature but am switching over to Essentials.
