Lets clients work with their Bitween's exchanges from their own programs, signed in as a service account: search, get, read files, retry chain, retry, bulk retry (with preview), export (with check), scheduled retries and run now.
.NET: SimplyWorks.Bitween.Client (new SW.Bitween.Client), using the API's own models from SimplyWorks.Bitween.Sdk.
Node: @simplyworks/bitween-client (sdk/node-client), same calls, no dependencies.
BitweenClientTests run the .NET client against a real in-process Bitween, and now run on every PR, so a change that breaks the client fails here.
Published only by the r10.0 release run, at Bitween's version. Docs: docs/client-sdk.md.
Licensing: both packages say MIT, but NOTICE lists only SW.Bitween.Sdk and the samples as MIT. They need adding there before the first release.

Summary
Summary
Adds .NET and Node.js client SDKs for service-account access to Bitween exchanges. Both clients support search, file reads, retries, bulk retry preview and execution, export checks and streaming exports, and scheduled retries. Adds usage documentation and release workflow support for NuGet and npm packages.
Risk
risk:medium. The clients handle service-account credentials and expose permission-sensitive operations, including retries and file exports. Both exchange the service token for a session, share concurrent sign-ins, renew sessions, and retry once after a 401. Callers must protect service tokens and grant only required account roles.
Security-sensitive areas
Authentication, session renewal, authorization failures, and exchange data access are new client surfaces. The .NET client leaves a caller-supplied HttpClient open; it disposes an internally created one. The Node client accepts a custom fetch implementation, so callers control transport behavior.
Test coverage impact
Adds .NET HTTP integration tests and Node.js client tests. The PR workflow runs both test suites. The supplied evidence describes test coverage and workflow configuration, but does not include test run results.
Deployment and operations
No migration or database change is described. The release workflow publishes the .NET and Node packages for release versions. The Node package requires Node.js 22 or later. Bulk retry and export are limited to 500 exchanges per operation. The supplied materials do not establish rollout or rollback procedures.
The pull request adds .NET and Node.js client SDKs for exchange and scheduled-retry operations. It adds authentication and session handling, query models, integration and unit tests, package release workflows, and SDK documentation.

Summary
.NET project and authenticated requests SW.Bitween.Client/SW.Bitween.Client.csproj, SW.Bitween.Client/BitweenClient.cs, SW.Bitween.Client/BitweenClientException.cs
The .NET client supports owned or supplied HttpClient instances, service-token sign-in, shared session renewal, and one retry after a 401 response. It exposes parsed HTTP error details and disposes only an owned HttpClient.
.NET query models and operations SW.Bitween.Client/ExchangeQuery.cs, SW.Bitween.Client/Exchanges.cs
Adds exchange and scheduled-retry query models, selection builders, paged search, lookup, file reading, retry operations, export methods, and scheduled-retry operations.
.NET integration and validation SW.Bitween.HttpTests/SW.Bitween.HttpTests.csproj, SW.Bitween.sln, SW.Bitween.HttpTests/BitweenClientTests.cs, .github/workflows/dotnet-pr-checks.yml
Adds HTTP integration tests for client operations and errors. Adds the client project to the solution and runs its filtered test suite in the pull-request workflow.
Node.js types and query conversion sdk/node-client/src/index.d.ts, sdk/node-client/src/index.js
Adds TypeScript declarations and converts exchange queries and selections into Bitween filters and request values.
Node.js operations and session handling sdk/node-client/src/index.js, sdk/node-client/test/client.test.js
Adds exchange and scheduled-retry operations, authenticated requests, shared sign-in, session renewal, and parsed errors. Tests cover operation requests, session reuse, reauthentication, and errors.
Package distribution and documentation .github/workflows/bitween-api-cicd-gateway.yml, .github/workflows/sdk-release.yml, sdk/node-client/package.json, sdk/node-client/README.md, README.md, docs/architecture.md, docs/client-sdk.md
Adds the .NET client to the NuGet project list and adds an npm release job. Updates package and repository documentation for both client SDKs.
Resolve the license grants and SDK correctness issues before publishing. Some configurations cause repeated sign-ins, legacy exchanges can be missed, and retry-only accounts can receive an error after a successful retry. These are bounded issues rather than evidence of a broad outage or data loss.

Unverified finding
We couldn't verify this from the code. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
Scheduled-retry date filters always send UTC ISO timestamps, while the supplied DelayedRetries.Search handler does not perform the DatesToUtc normalization shown in the exchange search path; its date-filter contract may differ.
The search can fail or return a due-time range different from the requested one.
This can occur when: A scheduled-retry search supplies from or to and the server parses On conditions without accepting or correctly converting UTC-offset timestamps.

99-99: ⚠️ Potential issue | 🟡 Minor | 💤 Low value
Time emits only milliseconds, truncating a DateTimeOffset bound with finer precision. An inclusive To bound can thereby move earlier than the caller requested.
A row within the requested interval is omitted from the search.
This can occur when: To is 2026-11-01T12:00:00.000500Z and an exchange began at 2026-11-01T12:00:00.000250Z.

Update the ExchangeQuery time-bound serialization so DateTimeOffset values
retain precision finer than milliseconds, especially for the inclusive To bound.

Cap the renewal margin for short sessions so they are reused.
With a session of 60 seconds or less, renewAfter equals the sign-in time. Every call then signs in again. The server allows Bitween.JwtExpiryMinutes to be set to 1 or lower. The fix caps the margin at half the session lifetime.

Dispose the test HttpClient instances that HttpFixture.Client() creates.
42-43: 🩺 Stability & Availability | 🟡 Minor | 💤 Low value
Dispose the test HttpClient instances that HttpFixture.Client() creates.
HttpFixture.Client() returns a new HttpClient from App.CreateClient(...) and keeps no reference to it. DisposeAsync() disposes only the app, the containers, and the temp directory. BitweenClient does not own an injected HttpClient, so disposing the wrapper leaves that client open. The clients remain until garbage collection. The client comes from an in-process test server and holds no OS socket, so the impact is limited to managed memory for the test run.
Track the clients in the fixture and dispose them in DisposeAsync():

Add a .NET test for concurrent first requests that counts sign-ins.
The concurrent reads at SW.Bitween.HttpTests/BitweenClientTests.cs:67-68 run after SearchAsync at line 53 has already signed in. They reuse an existing session, so the sign-in lock in SW.Bitween.Client/BitweenClient.cs:32 and :128-134 is not exercised by concurrent first calls. No .NET test counts api/accounts/servicetoken requests. Removing the lock would not change any current assertion.

Assert the page that scheduledRetries.search returns.
The call at line 126 awaits scheduledRetries.search but does not bind or check its result. An implementation that sends the same request and returns undefined still passes this test. Guard the empty search result before indexing it in the client guide examples.
When a search matches no exchanges, the response has an empty result array. The .NET example then throws at failed.Result[0]. The JavaScript examples throw a TypeError at failed.result[0].inputKey and failed.result[0].id. The same pattern appears in the Node README. Add a check for an empty result before indexing it.

Escape or reject colons in promoted property keys.
The server reads a PromotedProperty filter text at its first colon. A key-only search for order:source therefore becomes key order containing source. It selects exchanges that promoted order with a value such as sourcehouse, which never promoted order:source. Reject : in promoted property keys in PromotedPropertyValidation, or change the server pair parser to match whole keys.

Fixed in b8bbc06: calls that find the session spent now share one sign-in task and its answer, refusal included. A new HttpTests case sends 10 calls at once with a bad token and then signs in with a good token from the same address. It fails on the old code with 'Too many invalid tokens from this address' and passes now.

Stop re-signing on every call when the session lifetime is 60 seconds or less.
JwtExpiryMinutes accepts 1, which yields ExpiresIn 60. Then Math.Max(0, ExpiresIn - 60) sets RenewAfter to the sign-in time, so Usable fails on every later call. Each call signs in again, adding two server-side database writes. Use half the lifetime as the margin when it is under two minutes.
Suggested fix
- // Renewed a minute early, so no call goes out on a session that ends on its way.- session = new Session(answer.Jwt, DateTimeOffset.UtcNow.AddSeconds(Math.Max(0, answer.ExpiresIn - 60)));+ // Renewed a minute early, or halfway through a session shorter than two minutes.+ var margin = Math.Min(60, answer.ExpiresIn / 2);+ session = new Session(answer.Jwt, DateTimeOffset.UtcNow.AddSeconds(Math.Max(0, answer.ExpiresIn - margin)));

Update the session renewal timing in the sign-in flow in BitweenClient so
sessions with an ExpiresIn under two minutes use half their lifetime as the
renewal margin, while retaining the existing one-minute margin for longer
sessions. Ensure a 60-second session remains usable after sign-in instead of
triggering sign-in on every call.

Fixed in b8bbc06, in both clients: renewed a minute early, or halfway through a session shorter than two minutes. The Node test signs in once for two calls on a 60-second session.
GetAsync returns null for an existing exchange that has two newer retries.
The id search matches the exchange, its direct retries, and its aggregation rows, sorted newest first. Only the first two rows are read. A legacy exchange with two newer direct retries fills both rows, so the exchange itself is not returned. GetAsync then returns null, though its summary says null means no exchange has that id. Chains forked before the one-retry rule can have this shape.
Page through the search until the id is found or the results end.
Suggested fix
public async Task<XchangeRow?> GetAsync(string id, CancellationToken cancellation = default)
{
- // The id search also finds the exchange's retry, which is newer, and the exchanges it rolled up,- // which are older: newest first, the exchange itself is first or second.- var found = await SearchAsync(new ExchangeQuery { Ids = [id] }, 0, 2, false, cancellation);- return found.Result.FirstOrDefault(x => x.Id == id);+ // The id search also finds the exchange's retries, which are newer, and the exchanges rolled+ // up into it, which are older. Read pages until the exchange is found or the results end.+ var query = new ExchangeQuery { Ids = [id] };+ for (var page = 0; ; page++)+ {+ var found = await SearchAsync(query, page, 25, false, cancellation);+ var match = found.Result.FirstOrDefault(x => x.Id == id);+ if (match != null) return match;+ if (found.Result.Count < 25) return null;+ }

Update GetAsync to page through SearchAsync results until it finds the row whose
Id matches the requested id or reaches the end of the results, then return the
match or null. Do not assume the exchange appears within the first two rows;
preserve cancellation propagation.

Check read permission before the retry is saved.
Retry.Handle checks only exchanges.operate before it saves the retry. The follow-up search that both SDK wrappers run does require exchanges.view or dashboard.view. A caller that holds only exchanges.operate therefore commits the retry, and then the search returns INSUFFICIENT_PERMISSIONS. RetryAsync in the .NET SDK and retry() in the Node SDK both throw after the write succeeded, and neither returns the new attempt ID.
Add the same read check before the write. The retry then fails before any change is made.

Retry.Handle authorizes the retry write without checking permission for the
follow-up search. Add the required exchanges.view or dashboard.view
authorization before persisting the retry, while retaining the existing
exchanges.operate check, so insufficient read permission fails before any change
is made.

Fixed on the client side in b8bbc06 rather than on the server: changing what exchanges.operate alone allows is a permission-model change outside this PR. The retry is made either way, so both clients now answer with no id (null) when the follow-up lookup is refused with 403, instead of throwing after the write. Covered by an HttpTests case with an operate-only account.
Add the client to NOTICE and add a LICENSE file before the first publish.
SW.Bitween.Client declares MIT, but its directory has no LICENSE file and NOTICE does not list it. The r10.0 release run publishes it to NuGet with no NOTICE check. Add a LICENSE file to SW.Bitween.Client/ and list the package in NOTICE's MIT section.

Not changed here on purpose. Same licensing decision as for sdk/node-client: it's raised in the PR description and has to be settled before the first r10.0 release, the only run that publishes.
On the review's follow-up comments, all fixed in b8bbc06:
Culture:ExchangeQuery.Time formats with the invariant culture, so the year is Gregorian whatever the caller's culture. An HttpTests case searches by date under th-TH; it finds nothing on the old code and both exchanges now.
Precision: times go out to the tick (.fffffffZ), so an inclusive To isn't moved earlier.
Node renewal margin: same fix as the .NET one: halfway through a session shorter than two minutes.
