    Hi @lovepoem

The same as for #1515, I'm afraid: It's not been something that people have asked for.

If we don't have a module for something, then it is still possible for you to use it via the GenericContainer class.

I'll leave the ticket open for a little while in case anyone wants to add upvotes or example code for how they've done it.

@rnorth @lovepoem since ZooKeeper is pretty popular tech, I see why we would want to add it, but before we do that, I would like to know:

Are there any difficulties with using ZooKeeper via the GenericContainer class?
(like crazy port mappings or something)

I think there are no difficulties (someone finshed it in https://github.com/gAmUssA/testcontainers-java-module-confluent-platform) , but if you have a complete ZooKeeper component ,a testcontainers freshman can use it immediately

I just wrote an example for Zookeeper and it is so simple to do it. Not an expert but would love to hear more about challenges using Zookeeper in order to consider it a module. Maybe providing examples as a part of our documentation would be enough.

@eddumelendez WDYT about bringing your example into the Testcontainers examples (and have the link in our docs)? For me, this would then qualify as closing this issue.
