…p runtime Docker masks /sys/firmware, so /proc/device-tree is unreadable in a container and Orin detection fell back to the stable runtime and skipped join-on-main, aborting the runtime on Python 3.11/3.12. Read the kernel SoC devices under /sys/bus/soc/devices instead, which containers share with the host. Drop the nv_boot_control.conf check: the file is space-separated, so the "=" parse never matched.
