stale-pr: resolve code#2984 — pre-filed Nov 2-4 trough config change is conflicting and needs re-decision after the provider_routes collapse #3815

Closed

Description

@dezren39

Resolution task for PR #2984 (TEMPORARY Nov 2-4 trough: workhorse primary defaults to Meta — DeepSeek leg parked, #2173 A3).

Parked during the 2026-11-01 merge pass, not merged:

  1. The PR's own config comment says it was PRE-FILED and "merge is a separate decision, effective Nov 2-4 only" — it is a timed operational change, not a routine merge.
  2. It is now CONFLICTING against main in .opencode/opencode.jsonc.
  3. The live config has changed materially since the branch was cut: the provider_routes collapse landed 2026-11-01 (experimental.provider_routes "openai-plan"; explicit openai-plan-* routes removed — any resolution must preserve that), and a muse-direct disable landed the same morning (commit c6bf933) — while this PR would seat muse-direct/muse-spark-1.3-contributor as workhorse primary at weight 3. Whether that is still intended after the disable needs the quota owner's call.

Decision needed (owner of #2173 A3): re-decide the trough change against the current config, rebase the hunk onto current main preserving the provider_routes collapse, and merge timed for Nov 2-4 (with the Nov 5 revert noted in the PR), or close the PR as superseded.

Queue task 7377. PR #2984 closed as superseded; closing this tracker.

    Decision evidence (fresh at origin/main = 8e76c6fa5, 2026-11-03):

    • The PR parks opencode-route/deepseek-flash#high and lifts muse-direct/muse-spark-1.3-contributor to weight 3, for the Nov 2-4 quota trough.
    • Current workhorse-primary in experimental.provider_routes (~.opencode/opencode.jsonc:4353) is a three-way equal round-robin at weight 2: openai-plan/gpt-6-luna#xhigh, muse-direct/muse-spark-1.3-contributor#xhigh, opencode-route/deepseek-flash-plan#high — per the route's own 2026-11-02 (Drew) note, which moved DeepSeek Flash into primary.
    • Meta was also re-enabled on 2026-11-02 (disabled_providers note: "REVERSED … pool reset … fresh 0% with 100 pts headroom").

So the PR does not merely conflict; merging it would re-park a leg Drew deliberately re-seated and over-weight Meta while its pool is pacing to exhaust. It also edits a region removed by the provider_routes collapse. Closing, not merging; nothing deleted, and the rationale is recorded on the PR so it can be reopened or re-filed if a different trough mix is wanted.

No branch, worktree, or code change was made for this task.

    Reconciliation of the 2026-11-03 reviewed-issue list — 2026-11-05

The 1,635-issue reviewed list (queue repo-health-code-pilot triage snapshot, cutoff 2026-11-03T12:33:10Z; file reviewed-issues-2026-11-03.csv) was reconciled against live GitHub state (GraphQL pull cross-checked by REST after a transient-error pass produced 21 false "not an issue" results — REST verified all 21 exist; only #3092 is genuinely not an issue: it is PR #3092, merged 2026-11-02, recorded as an issue in error).

    Matrix (disposition × live state):

    • triaged: 326 open · 1,079 closed · 1 not-an-issue (fix(id): reject malformed REPL flags #3092)
    • already_done: 3 open · 148 closed
    • fixed_merged: 1 open · 31 closed
    • superseded: 5 open · 21 closed
    • no_longer_reproducible: 0 open · 8 closed
    • reconciled: 0 open · 2 closed · landed-close: 0 open · 1 closed
    • pr_opened: 1 open · 7 closed · returned: 0 open · 1 closed

Closes this pass: 0. Mid-run, Drew added a stop-gate: no closes on the recorded disposition alone — each finding must validate against fresh evidence. All 9 still-open terminal-disposition candidates were validated individually; none was closable:

Validated as landed, but deliberately left open (user-escalated / active):

    Skipped anomalies (active queue work):

Findings not validated (recorded disposition contradicted by the issue's own later record):

Backlog signal: 326 triaged issues remain open (plus the 9 above and 1 pr_opened = 336 open of the 1,635). Nothing was closed, reopened, or modified in this pass.

Full per-issue detail: reviewed-issues-2026-11-03-reconciliation.csv (live state + action for all 1,635 rows).
