id(world): F11.10 split world.rs, world_session.rs and cli.rs (moves only) #540

Closed

Description

@dezren39

What and why

Split the three largest modules into focused files, box large command variants so cmd_world stays under a stack budget, with no behaviour change. Exit: no file over 2,500 production lines. The blocker (open platform stack #209-#248) has merged. The files have grown since the plan was written, and the open platform stack the split waited on has merged, so nothing blocks it now.

Source

Current status

Not started. Regressed since the plan: pkgs/id/src/world.rs is 7,596 lines (plan: 6,120), first #[cfg(test)] at :4020, so ~4,019 production lines; world_session.rs 4,180 (tests at :2560); cli.rs 4,126 (tests at :2062). No pkgs/id/src/world/ directory. The stack it waited on is merged (PRs #209, #211, #239, #244, #247-#250, #256 MERGED).

Acceptance criteria

  • world.rs, world_session.rs and cli.rs are split into focused modules; no file has over 2,500 production lines
  • Large command variants are boxed so cmd_world stays under a stack budget
  • Moves only: no behaviour change, and the existing test suite passes without edits to assertions
