fix(mcpx): name both daemon digests, shape-derived cache version, status never starts a daemon (#1866) - #2476
Implements the three #1866 fixes from triage task 2758 (queue task 3085):
Two digests, one name — the daemon info file's configHash held the schema-cache digest while /v1/resolve's configHash is the daemon key. Info now writes schemaHash (server-definition digest, Registry.ConfigHash()) and daemonKey (FingerprintConfig over the config sources) as distinct fields. In-repo readers verified: the resolver and the opencode plugin both take the key from the info file's name, never the field; the plugin's DaemonInfo type is updated to match. /v1/resolve is unchanged in meaning.
Schema-cache versioning — cacheVersion is no longer a hand-bumped integer. It is derived at startup from the JSON shape of cachedEntry and every struct type reachable from it (shape-<sha256:16>), so a cache file written by a differently-shaped build fails the version check in loadCache and is invalidated instead of silently serving empty fields. Regression test TestLoadCacheIgnoresStaleShapeFiles reproduces the Annotations case byte-for-byte (legacy numeric version: 6 file with an annotations-bearing tool is not seeded), plus a foreign-shape string version.
mcpx status autostart — the non-starting decision is now documented in mcpx status help (manual Detail, verified in mcpx help status output) and in the docs/story.md command table.
Tests (laptop, pkgs/mcpx):
Targeted daemon tests pass, incl. the two new tests (TestLoadCacheIgnoresStaleShapeFiles, TestInfoFileNamesBothDigests) and all resolve/hash tests; internal/cli package passes; plugin daemon.test.ts 21/21.
Full go test ./...: every package passes except internal/daemon's full-package run, which dies with signal: terminated in the takeover tests — reproduced identically on a clean origin/main worktree tonight, i.e. pre-existing/environmental, not from this change (the same tests pass in isolation in both trees).
Cross-repo check: dezren39/nix carries no mcpx daemon source (only mcpx.config.nix, planning docs, and a nixbuild workflow), so no port is owed there.
Merge note: this PR is merge-ready pending CI/Codex, but the merge queue is stalled repo-wide (#2403); it should be enqueued once #2403 is fixed. Queue task 3085 is parked on that gate.

Summary by CodeRabbit
Documentation
Clarified that mcpx status does not start a daemon. If none is running, it reports that status and exits; use mcpx serve or a command that requires a daemon to start one.
Bug Fixes
Improved schema cache version checks so stale or incompatible cache files are ignored rather than used.

Derive schema-cache version from cached types pkgs/mcpx/internal/daemon/registry.go, pkgs/mcpx/internal/daemon/cachescope_test.go
The cache version is now a string derived from the cached-entry type shape. Tests cover string versions and reject stale or foreign cache files.
Separate schema and daemon-key digests pkgs/mcpx/internal/daemon/paths.go, pkgs/mcpx/internal/daemon/server.go, pkgs/mcpx/internal/daemon/routes_resolve.go, pkgs/mcpx/plugin/opencode/mcpx/daemon.ts, pkgs/mcpx/internal/daemon/paths_test.go
Daemon info stores the schema digest as schemaHash and the daemon fingerprint as daemonKey. The server populates the fields, and the Go and TypeScript declarations describe them. The test checks serialization and reading.
developing-today/code#1866 — The PR includes the distinct daemon digest fields, shape-based schema-cache invalidation, and non-starting status documentation described in the issue.
developing-today/code#1908 — The PR changes schema-cache versioning and invalidation, but does not include the shared cache mechanism described in the issue.

Synchronize the plugin copies before merging so the mcpx workflow can run its tests. Also correct the daemon key advertised for configurations without sources; no current in-repository consumer depends on that value.

Exclude unexported stdlib fields from cacheShapeVersion.
walk descends into time.Time (FetchedAt, Deadline) and *time.Location, and it hashes their unexported fields. A toolchain change to those fields changes the cache version. loadCache then discards a compatible cache, and Warm refetches every server. If JSON compatibility is the only goal, limit the walk to exported fields. First confirm that no cached type has custom JSON methods that depend on unexported state.

Update the field traversal in walk, used by cacheShapeVersion, to hash only
exported fields so unexported standard-library implementation details do not
affect the cache shape; first verify that no cached type’s custom JSON methods
depend on unexported state.
Add a test that exercises Server.publish and checks both published digests.
TestInfoFileNamesBothDigests calls paths.WriteInfo with literal values, so it never runs publish. A swap of SchemaHash and DaemonKey in publish would not fail this test or any other test in pkgs/mcpx. Add a test that calls publish, reads the written info file, and checks schemaHash against Registry.ConfigHash() and daemonKey against FingerprintConfig(cfg.Sources).
The current publish assigns both values correctly, so this is a coverage gap, not a current defect.

Add a test that exercises `Server.publish`, reads the resulting info file, and
verifies `schemaHash` matches `Registry.ConfigHash()` while `daemonKey` matches
`FingerprintConfig(cfg.Sources)`. Keep `TestInfoFileNamesBothDigests` unchanged,
since its literal `paths.WriteInfo` values do not cover the assignments in
`publish`.
Add a test that the cache version changes with the cached type shape.
TestLoadCacheIgnoresStaleShapeFiles rejects only a numeric version and the literal shape-0000000000000000. If cacheVersion were a different fixed string, both cases would still be rejected, and the test would still pass. No test calls cacheShapeVersion() or compares versions for different struct shapes.
Suggested direction
Refactor cacheShapeVersion to hash a value passed in. Then add a test that two different struct shapes produce different versions. Keep the existing rejection checks.

Set DaemonKey only when the configuration has sources.
publish() sets DaemonKey whenever the configuration is non-nil. A daemon started without config sources uses the unkeyed socket and info file, but FingerprintConfig of an empty list still returns a nonempty value. The info file then advertises a key that does not name its daemon, which contradicts the DaemonKey contract in paths.go.

PR #2476 renamed the daemon info fields in the canonical plugin copy (pkgs/mcpx/plugin/opencode/mcpx/daemon.ts) but not the dogfood copy at .opencode/plugin/mcpx/daemon.ts, failing CI's copy-in-sync check (basic: test). Copies must be identical; this is the canonical file verbatim.
