Verification item split from #796 (item 9-8)
Parent tracker: #796 (id phase-9/10 verification debt). Split per #796's acceptance criteria ("split into its own issue linked from here"), routed by triage task 8090 on 2026-11-04 after triage task 7481 (2026-11-03) re-confirmed this item open.
Gap
The CLI verbs id world stats, logs, caps --ceiling, and profile have parse-only tests — their behavior is unproven. The world new scaffold is written but never compiled, so scaffold validity is unproven.
Acceptance criteria
- Each named verb has at least one test that executes it against a fixture/temp world and asserts on output/effect (beyond argument parsing).
- A test that runs in CI compiles the
world newscaffold output. - Targeted tests pass in CI; the verb-by-verb mapping is posted on id phase-9/10: verification debt — delivered faster than verified, no dedicated issues carry it #796 and this issue closes with that evidence.
- Test-only: a revealed bug gets its own issue/PR referenced here and on id phase-9/10: verification debt — delivered faster than verified, no dedicated issues carry it #796 — not a silent fix under this issue.
