fix(web): short branch names no longer get clipped in thread details - #25328
In thread details, the branch row could show "main" as "mai". The last letter was cut off.
MiddleTruncate puts an inline clip-path on its head span when a long value overflows. When the value then changes to a short one, React reuses that same span node, so the old clip stays and cuts the short text. The short-value span now has a key, so React mounts a fresh node.
Proof: a new browser test renders a long value, switches to main, and checks for no stale clip. It fails without the fix and passes with it. vp run check:changed passes.

Before, the main span keeps the old clip-path: inset(-0.25em 7.09px -0.25em 0px). After, it has no clip.

Macroscope's review found this PR approvable — This is a small, self-contained UI bug fix with a browser regression test. It only resets stale clipping state when MiddleTruncate switches from a long value to a short value and does not affect product defaults or static-analysis configuration.

MiddleTruncate now keys its unsplit-value span as whole. A browser test checks that replacing an overflowing value with main removes the overflow marker and sets clipPath to none.

Explanation
The description clearly explains the clipping problem, the key-based fix, focused browser-test coverage, verification results, and before/after screenshots. It also identifies the model and harness used. It does not include a triaged issue, maintainer approval link, or an explicit explanation for why this obvious bug qualifies without one, but the remaining required information is complete.

Move the fixed width to a class on the parent.
Use className="w-[80px]" on the <div> instead of a static inline style. Remove w-full from MiddleTruncate; layout width belongs on the parent. As per coding guidelines, “No style={{ ... }} or inline <style> for static values a class covers,” and “Layout classes (width, flex, margin, position) belong on the parent.” As per path instructions, “style with Tailwind classes in the component; avoid inline styles for static values a class can express.”
