test(mobile): run React hooks with the release compiler - #24274
The mobile React tests previously ran application hooks without Expo’s React Compiler. That made a focus-effect test demand manual memoization even though the Release compiler already stabilized the callback.
Compile mobile application modules in the React test project with the checked-in Expo Babel configuration and iOS Release compiler flags. Keep test fixtures uncompiled. The Node test runner uses inline Babel helpers instead of Metro runtime imports.
Remove the proposed manual useCallback from the review guide and pass existing refresh functions directly to focus effects. The behavioral tests now verify focus refresh, running-guide polling, and cleanup with compiler output. No production refresh-loop or performance improvement is claimed.
Validation: all 131 tests in the mobile React project pass; check:changed passes. Native views remain mocked in this project, so this is not device verification. The small task-cache test service-provision cleanup is retained to satisfy current CI lint.
Implemented and reviewed with GPT-6.1-sol through the Codex harness.
Macroscope's review found this PR approvable — This PR adds release-compiler coverage for mobile React tests and makes a small, localized stabilization of existing pull-request focus refresh effects. The remaining changes are test-only cleanup and focused lifecycle tests, with no product-default or static-analysis suppression changes.

Walkthrough
Pull-request screens now pass refreshDetail directly to focus effects. The mobile test setup adds Babel transformation support and tests for review-guide refresh and polling behavior. A task-cache cleanup test now provides its cache service directly.

* chore(task-cache): name native client downloads so agent-device can install them by URL
agent-device install-from-source picks the archive type from the download's
filename, and the cache URL has no extension. Device pool workers can now
fetch the dev client straight from the cache instead of the caller uploading
it through the gateway.

* feat(mobile): run the chrome e2e across poses on the device pool
`vp run mobile:e2e` now leases iOS and Android devices from the Simlock pool
(SIMLOCK_AGENT_DEVICE_URL + AGENT_DEVICE_DAEMON_AUTH_TOKEN) instead of booting
local simulators, and walks each of 12 poses (phone sizes, iPads, a fold,
a tablet, dark mode, largest text) through the app: thread list, a thread,
scrolling, typing, back, settings, then rotation or folding.
Every screen gets generic layout checks that need no per-screen code: app in
front, no error screen or launch dialog, no fixed control cut off by the
screen edge, no sibling controls stacked, nothing under a system bar, no
input under the keyboard. Transitions keep the video check for tabs lagging
the screen, now measured against the recording's own first and last frames.
Afterwards a headless Claude reviews each pose's screenshots for what the
checks cannot see, and the findings land in the same report grid.
`mobile:install --session` now has the session's host download the dev
client from the shared cache with the read-only key, instead of uploading it
through the gateway (13 s instead of 10+ minutes for an APK).

* chore(mobile): e2e poses for current devices, Duo and landscape fixes
Poses now cover iPhone SE, iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone Duo folded and unfolded,
iPad Pro 13" in both orientations, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro Fold folded,
unfolded and unfolded landscape, and Pixel Tablet in both orientations.
Landscape poses rotate once the app is up (a rotation during launch is lost)
and check that the screen really is wider than tall. Taps fall back to the
element's centre when agent-device refuses a covered ref, and a gateway
whose workers briefly reconnect is retried.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(mobile): select the correct draft after adding a project (pingdotgg#24269)
* fix(mobile): mobile:install no longer requires --prepare
The --prepare flag from pingdotgg#25390 had no default, so effect/cli made it
required and every mobile:install failed with "Missing required flag".
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(mobile): e2e landscape poses rotate for real on tablets and folds
agent-device names rotations relative to the device's natural orientation,
which is landscape on the Pixel Tablet and an unfolded Fold, so
"landscape-left" turned them portrait. The runner now asks for a shape and
tries each rotation until the screen has it. It also prepares each platform's
dev client before leasing, rides out longer worker drops, and skips the
Duo poses by default until agent-device can fold Simlock's simulators.

Open retained Agent lens evidence from Settings and explicitly start
Live
viewing on one selected environment route. Preserve frame-aware touch
and
text input, takeover confirmation, release, return and end-all-access.
Bind supervision to focus, app visibility, permissions and connection.
Order pending access grants before cleanup and subsequent acquisitions
so
late replies cannot restart capture. Keep the current mobile UI imports.
Follow upstream Settings workspace routes (5848bc2, pingdotgg#24524) and the
release compiler test project (9eac774, pingdotgg#24274). Focused compiled
lifecycle and coordinate tests, mobile typechecking and scoped lint
pass.

Show thread-owned desktop activity and monitor controls beside chat on
web and mobile. Keep access leases scoped to the destination and release
late grants when focus, permissions or the selected thread changes.
Include the approved O111 status and return-control split and O118 UI
imports. Retain upstream right-panel actions (ebe828c, pingdotgg#23064),
mobile workspace routing (5848bc2, pingdotgg#24524), and release compiler
tests (9eac774, pingdotgg#24274). Preserve split RPC authorization and usage
refresh.

Keep scoped execution and screen grants separate from native consent.
Supervise managed guest jobs and durable process receipts across
clients.
Add F15/F16 to the fork ledger with atomic adoption validation.
Preserve captured Effect runtimes from 6618ccb (pingdotgg#25096) and native
cancellation from d859715 (pingdotgg#25098). Retain snapshot behavior from
2763bbe (pingdotgg#24618) and mobile release compilation from 9eac774
(pingdotgg#24274). Fold the O118 RPC and mobile import adaptations here.

Keep Wonder Full Max Lead preferences across drafts, recovery and
provider turns. Require actual Astra Max and Sol Extra High
capabilities, preserve saved model choices, and use Direct while workers
are unavailable.
Fold the availability hint, explicit child-role policy, approved
instruction, and Full-only selection fixes into this boundary. Strip
inherited Lead for partial child options and validate effective role at
execution.
Adapt to upstream picker sizing in 5a38e6b (pingdotgg#25358), mobile release
compilation in 9eac774 (pingdotgg#24274), and concise MCP tools in 5f64c5e
(pingdotgg#24850). Preserve the removed child quota from 3ed0688 (pingdotgg#25359).
Validated with 768 focused tests, all eight affected package typechecks,
and scoped format/lint. Browser and native UI verification remains with
the lead after construction.
Implemented with GPT-6-Astra at Max via Codex in T3 Code.

Remove the proposed manual
useCallbackfrom the review guide and pass existing refresh functions directly to focus effects. The behavioral tests now verify focus refresh, running-guide polling, and cleanup with compiler output. No production refresh-loop or performance improvement is claimed.Validation: all 131 tests in the mobile React project pass;
check:changedpasses. Native views remain mocked in this project, so this is not device verification. The small task-cache test service-provision cleanup is retained to satisfy current CI lint.Implemented and reviewed with GPT-6.1-sol through the Codex harness.
