A project clone on zbook froze at "Receiving objects · 24% · 168.80 MiB | 20.69 MiB/s". The TCP connection to GitHub had died, so git went silent while the kernel kept retrying (15+ minutes before it gives up). The banner kept showing the last speed as if data were still arriving, so it looked like git was just slow.

Now the server marks a clone as stalled after 20 seconds with no git progress, and clears the mark on the next progress line. The shared progress summary shows "Stalled" in place of the stale speed:

Proof: a focused tracker test (fails without the fix), plus a live run with real git through a fake SSH transport that sends part of a pack and then goes silent. At 19 s it showed Receiving objects · 66%, at 23 s Receiving objects · 66% · Stalled, and Cancel still worked.
